Class Cost is $100.00 per person
We now offer in addition to our outdoor class a new class consisting of a format that utilizes a high powered XD Tactical training pistol used by our Military and Law Enforcement. This class was designed to improve individual self defence and confidence in a assault situation. You will have indoor senarios and outdoor senarios. (weather permitting ) Our firearms will be used for this class. This class is a in depth self defence class like no other offered in this area. If individuals wish to schedule additional Live fire range time with their firearm get with the instructor after the class to schedule.
In late 2013 to early 2014 we will have another new addition to our classes a full indoor livefire range. Keep watching for details.
OUR COURSE GOAL, IS TO DEVELOP STUDENTS WITH THE KNOWWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE ESSENTIAL TO THE SAFE AND EFFICIENT USE OF A HANDGUN FOR PROTECTION OF SELF AND FAMILY, AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE LAW ABIDING CITIZEN'S RIGHT TO SELF DEFENSE.
This class meets all State of Michigan requirements and is taught by NRA Certified Training Instructors. This course is called “Personal Protection in the Home.” Upon successful completion of this course, you will be provided a certificate of completion that you must submit along with your CPL application.
CPL Course Covers:
• The safe storage, use, and handling of a pistol
• Ammunition knowledge and the fundamentals of pistol shooting
• Firearms and the laws, including civil liability issues and the use of deadly force
• Avoiding criminal attack and controlling a violent confrontation
• All laws that apply to carrying a concealed pistol in this state.
I have been a certified instructor since 2001 and presently work as a Sergeant for the Sheriff department. I have trained a wide variety of men and women, Those who are proficient and those who need a little more hands on training.
My goal is to insure the student is confident and efficient with a handgun before they leave the class.
